Success at the Harness Races

| A Message from the Author... |
I've been winning at the harness races. Have you?
If you have been successful, you're probably a pretty good handicapper. This book will add to your knowledge and help you do even better.
But if you've been tapping out with disturbing regularity, turn in your tout sheets and forget your past "knowledge." Because I am going to make you into a winner.
You'll no longer be the person whose 18 to 1 shot was nosed at the wire. Your "luck" will change for the better. You'll be the guy your friends turn to, not for "inside tips" but for sound handicapping advice.
Most racing fans are consistent losers because they do not know how to analyze past performances correctly. They don't understand what a drop in class means, and they feel that an eighth-place finish one week always means the same effort the next.
Others who can better evaluate the program information still lose because they make one or several of these errors: playing every race, following newspaper selectors, changing betting methods from race to race, switching their choice as new odds are posted, and listening to other fans.
Most race-goers lose. But, assuming you can control your emotions at the track, you can become a consistent winner.
